There are similarities between Matthew 24 and 1 Corinthians 11.

The Greek words used for

 "BE-CONDEMNED with THE WORLD" (1 Corinthians 11:32) are used in Hebrews 11:7, referring to Noah whom Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:38: 

"(By) faith Noah, having-been-warned about the (things) not-yet being-seen, having-been-reverent, prepared (the) ark for (the) salvation (of) his household, through which HE-CONDEMNED THE WORLD".

The Greek word for "IS-DRUNK" [methuó 3184 in Greek, verb] used in 1 Corinthians 5:11 is only used 1 time in Matthew, Mark & Luke combined: only in Matthew 24:49.
