Similarities: Matthew 24 & Matthew 28
There are similarities between Matthew 24 and Matthew 28.
The same Greek words that are used in both passages will be CAPITALIZED.
Matthew 24:7: "For nation will-arise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there-will-be famines and EARTHQUAKES in various-places."
The parallel account in Luke reads:
Luke 21:11: "There-will-be both GREAT EARTHQUAKES, and famines and plagues in various-places. There-will-be both fearful (things) and great signs from heaven."
Matthew 28:2: "And behold — (a) GREAT EARTHQUAKE took-place. For (a) messenger (of the) Lord — having-come-down out-of heaven, and having-gone to (it) — rolled-away the stone and was-sitting on it."
Matthew 24:34: "Truly I-say (to) YOU that this generation by-no-means will-pass-away UNTIL all these (things) take-place."
Matthew 28:20: "teaching them to-keep all that I-commanded you. And behold — I am with YOU all the days UNTIL the conclusion (of) the age”."
Matthew 24:3: "And (while) He (was) sitting on the Mount (of) Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us — when will these (things) be? And what (will be) the sign (of) Your coming and (the) CONCLUSION (of) THE AGE?”"
Matthew 28:20: "teaching them to-keep all that I-commanded you. And behold — I am with you all the days until the CONCLUSION (of) THE AGE”."
