Matthew 24:35: "Heaven and earth will-pass-away, but My words by-no-means will-pass-away."

The parallel account in Luke reads: Luke 21:33: "Heaven and earth will-pass-away, but My words by-no-means will-pass-away."

Luke 21:34: "“But take-heed to yourselves that your hearts may not at any time be-weighed-down with carousing and drunkenness and anxieties pertaining-to-life, and that unexpected day suddenly-come-upon you"

Matthew 24:30: "And then the sign (of) the Son (of) Man will-appear in (the) heaven. And at-that-time all the tribes (of) the earth will-beat-their-breasts. And they-will-see the Son (of) man coming on the clouds (of) heaven with power and great glory."

Matthew 24:31: "And He-will-send-out His angels with (a) loud trumpet. And THEY-WILL-GATHER-TOGETHER His chosen (ones) from the four winds, from (the) ends (of the) heavens to their [other] ends."

(The Greek word for "TO-GATHER-TOGETHER" (episunagó 1996 in Greek) is only used 3 times in Matthew, and all these 3 times are found exclusively in Matthew 23:37 and Matthew 24:31).

Luke 21:21: "Then let the (ones) in Judea be-fleeing to the mountains. And let the (ones) in (the) midst (of) her be-going-out. And let the (ones) in the fields not be-entering into her."

Matthew 23:37: "JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM, the (one) killing the prophets and stoning the (ones) having-been-sent-forth to her. How-often I-wanted to-gather-together your children the way (a) hen gathers-together her chicks under (her) wings, and you-did not want (it)."

Matthew 23:38: "Behold — your house is-being-left (to) you desolate [erēmos 2048 in Greek]."

The Greek word for "desolation" [erémósis 2050 in Greek, noun] used in Luke 21:20 comes from the Greek word for "to-desolate" [erémoó 2049 in Greek, verb] which comes from the Greek word for "desolate" [erémos 2048 in Greek, adjective] used in Matthew 23:38.
