Matthew 24:21: "For at-that-time there-will-be (a) great affliction such-as has not taken-place SINCE (the) BEGINNING (of the) world until now, nor ever will-take-place."

The parallel account in Mark reads:

Mark 13:19: "For those DAYS will-be (an) affliction such-as has not taken-place such-as-this SINCE (the) BEGINNING (of the) CREATION which God created until now, and never will-take-place (again)."

2 Peter 3:3: "knowing this first — that mockers will-come with mocking in (the) last DAYS, proceeding in-accordance-with their own desires,"

2 Peter 3:4: "and saying “Where is the promise (of) His coming? For from which (day) the fathers fell-asleep, everything is-continuing in-this-manner SINCE (the) BEGINNING (of) CREATION”."

Matthew 24:27: "For just-as the lightning comes-out from (the) east and is-appearing as-far-as (the) west, so will-be the COMING (parousia 3952 in Greek) (of) the Son (of) Man."

2 Peter 3:3: "knowing this first — that mockers will-come with mocking in (the) last days, proceeding in-accordance-with their own desires,"

2 Peter 3:4: "and saying “Where is the promise (of) His COMING (parousias 3952 in Greek)? For from which (day) the fathers fell-asleep, everything is-continuing in-this-manner from (the) beginning (of) creation”."

(This specific Greek word for "COMING" (parousia 3952 in Greek) is only used 4 times in the Gospels, and these 4 instances are all found exclusively in Matthew 24).

Matthew 24:38: "For as in those days before the flood they-were eating and drinking, marrying and giving-in-marriage, until which day Noah entered into the ark,"

Matthew 24:39: "and did not know until the flood (kataklüsmos 2627 in Greek) came and took-away everyone, so also will-be the coming (of) the Son (of) Man."

A similar account in Luke reads:

Luke 17:26: "“And as it-happened in the days (of) Noah, so it-will-be also in the days (of) the Son (of) Man —"

Luke 17:27: "they-were-eating, drinking, marrying, being-given-in-marriage, until which day Noah entered into the ark and the flood (kataklüsmos 2627 in Greek) came and DESTROYED everyone."

2 Peter 3:6: "through which the world at-that-time WAS-DESTROYED, having-been-flooded (kataklüstheis 2626 in Greek) (with) water."

(The Greek word for "flood" (kataklusmos 2627 in Greek, noun) used in Luke 17:27 comes from the Greek word for "having-been-flooded" (katakluzó 2626 in Greek, verb) which is used in 2 Peter 3:6).

Matthew 24:38: "For as in those days before the flood they-were eating and drinking, marrying and giving-in-marriage, until which day Noah entered into the ark,"

Matthew 24:39: "and did not know until the flood came and took-away everyone, so also will-be the coming (of) the Son (of) Man."

A similar account in Luke reads:

Luke 17:26: "“And as it-happened in the days (of) Noah, so it-will-be also in the days (of) the Son (of) Man —"

Luke 17:27: "they-were-eating, drinking, marrying, being-given-in-marriage, until which day Noah entered into the ark and the flood came and destroyed (apōlesen 622 in Greek) everyone."

Luke 17:29: "But (on) that DAY Lot departed from Sodom, it-rained FIRE and sulphur from HEAVEN and destroyed (apōlesen 622 in Greek) everyone."

2 Peter 3:7: "And (by) the same word the present HEAVENS and earth have-been-stored-up (for) FIRE, being-reserved for (the) DAY (of the) judgment and destruction (apōleias 684 in Greek) (of) non-worshiping people."

(The Greek word for "destruction" (apóleia 684 in Greek, noun) used in 2 Peter 3:7 comes from a presumed derivative of the Greek word for "destroyed" (apollumi 622 in Greek, verb) which is used in Luke 17:29).

Matthew 24:42: "Therefore keep-watching, because you-do not know (on) which DAY your LORD is-coming."

Matthew 24:43: "And you know that (saying), that if the house-master had-known (on) which watch the THIEF was-coming, he-would-have-kept-watch and would not have-allowed his house to-be-broken-into."

2 Peter 3:10: "But (the) DAY (of the) LORD WILL-COME like (a) THIEF — in which the heavens will-pass-away with-a-roar, and (the) elements will-be-destroyed (while) burning, and (the) earth and the works in it will-be-burned-up."

2 Peter 3:13: "But in-accordance-with His promise we-are-looking-for new HEAVENS and (a) new EARTH, in which righteousness dwells."

Matthew 24:13: "But the (one) having-endured to (the) end — this (one) will-be-saved."

2 Peter 3:15: "And be-regarding the patience (of) our Lord (to be) salvation, just-as also our beloved brother Paul wrote (to) you according-to the wisdom having-been-given (to) him,"

The Greek word for "salvation" [sótéria 4991 in Greek, noun] used in 2 Peter 3:15 is a feminine of a derivative of the Greek word for "savior" [sótér 4990 in Greek, noun] which comes from the Greek word for "will-be-saved" [sózó 4982 in Greek, verb] used in Matthew 24:13.
