1st century imminence in the Bible of the coming wrath

The same Greek words that are used in the various passages will be CAPITALIZED.

The mentions of the coming WRATH in several biblical passages could have been apprehended as imminent in the 1st century. The nature of the diverse mentions of the coming WRATH in the following passages will not be addressed here.

For example, John the Baptist in the 1st century "having-seen many (of) the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he-said (TO) THEM, “Brood (of) vipers — who showed YOU to-flee from the WRATH about-to(-come) (mellousēs 3195 in Greek)?" (Matthew 3:7). The Greek word for "about-to(-come)" (melló 3195 in Greek) is a verb that can be translated as "is-about-to".

Another example: it is written in Luke that Jesus said that "there-will-be (a) great distress upon the land, and WRATH (against) this people" (Luke 21:23), and addressed the disciples whom He was speaking to in the 1st century, and added 8 verses later that "also YOU when you-see these (things) taking-place, you-know that the kingdom (of) God is near. Truly I-say (to) YOU that this generation by-no-means will-pass-away until all (things) take-place" (Luke 21:31-32).

Another example: it is written in Romans that the epistle was written "(to) all the (ones) being in Rome" (Romans 1:7) in the 1st century, and to them it was written: "now been-declared-righteous by His blood, WE-will-be-saved FROM THE WRATH through Him" (Romans 5:9).

Another example: it is written in 1 Thessalonians that the epistle was written "(to) the church (of the) Thessalonians" (1 Thessalonians 1:1) in the 1st century, and to them it was written "to-be-awaiting His Son from the heavens Whom He-raised from the dead — Jesus, the (One) delivering US from the coming WRATH" (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Another example: it is written in Revelation in the 1st century about "(the things) which must take-place in quickness" (Revelation 1:1), and in it it is written that "the great day of their WRATH came" and "Your WRATH came" (Revelation 11:18).
